They are poised for significant growth in the coming months and offer a fast tracked career progression towards becoming a Chief Marketing Officer (CMO).

Job Summary:

Our client is seeking a talented and experienced Head of Marketing to lead the marketing efforts of their project. This strategic role will be instrumental in shaping the future of their ecosystem, driving adoption, and positioning them as a leader in the industry. The successful candidate will have a track record of running global campaigns, scaling up ecosystems in Web3, and a deep understanding of L1 & L2 chains. While Chinese language proficiency is desirable, it is not a requirement.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies and campaigns to drive awareness, adoption, and growth of the ecosystem
  • Collaborate closely with the engineering and product teams to ensure alignment of marketing efforts with the company’s goals and roadmap.
  • Lead the creation of compelling content, including whitepapers, blog posts, videos, and social media content, to educate and engage the target audience.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key industry partners, influencers, and media outlets to enhance brand visibility and thought leadership.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and user feedback to identify growth opportunities and optimize marketing strategies.
  • Measure and analyze marketing performance metrics, including on-chain activity, TVL growth, and ecosystem project adoption, and utilize the insights to refine marketing strategies.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to the leadership team, providing insights and recommendations on market trends, competitive positioning, and growth opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in marketing roles within the blockchain/crypto industry.
  • Proven track record of running global marketing campaigns and scaling up ecosystems in Web3, preferably for L2 chains.
  • Deep understanding of the blockchain ecosystem, including decentralized finance (DeFi), Web3 technologies, and zero-knowledge (ZK) applications.
  • Strong strategic thinking and ability to think beyond the current market landscape, anticipating future trends and opportunities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content and effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to earn the respect of the team by being knowledgeable, supportive, and proactive.
  • Proficiency in English is required; proficiency in Mandarin Chinese is a plus.
